Pink Sky Carousel

I really love carousels, especially when the horses are painted well. They're usually accompanied with popcorn stands, candy floss and that funny carni music. This pic shows one horse which got away and has now been seen flying above the rooftops. ;)

Have really admired Oliver Jeffers for many years now, I have all of his beautifully illustrated books. I really like his art and little stories. His book 'Lost & Found' was made into an animated film and it's so sweet and perfectly made. Ohhh, he's just so good! He's Irish too ;)

Mannequin Fascination

I recently became competely compelled and fascinated by mannequins. I don't think they're creepy (well maybe if you kept them sitting on your couch). I think they're so beautiful and so photogenic. I found this one in Australia in Old Tailem Town. She was all dusty and alone in one of their little tin houses. I really think she's posing, I just love this pic and I knew she'd look great with a bit of lippy. There's many more mannequin pics to come...

I first saw Chris Haughton's illustrations a few years ago and instantly LOVED them. They're so colourful, funny and inspiring! He has a children's book coming out soon called 'A Bit Lost' that he illustrated - I'll deffo be grabbing a copy of that! He's from Dublin too, Woo.

Bonny

Bonny is my family dog. I found her 7 years ago running in the middle of the road. She was tiny and one of her ears was bent down. When I saw her I just ran up and grabbed her and I knew i couldn't put her back down until I was home. She's the best, she's absolutely great...
