Oh before I go...

Just before I go, LOVE this. Yoshitomo Nara is one of my favourite artists. I just love his sinister cuteness. Okay, now I'm really going! xx

Bye Bye!

Wooo, I'm off on hols with Dave to the south of France on Monday, yay!! I will be gone for 2 weeks so I won't be blogging as I will be lying on a beach or leaping into the ocean or drinking wine and chilling out! I can't wait. I'm sure I will be back fully inspired and ready for getting the shop up and running with goodies! Laters xx

ohhh, isn't it just fab!!!

Miles & Miles

Howdy, this is a new pic that I finished recently. It features windmills, soft furry mountains, deep blue skies, oh and a motorised flying robot man. Hope you guys like it ;)

Iddo's Dream

I really like the look of an old negative, it has a charming, dreamy and spooky look. I was working on this pic recently. I scanned in a negative and then added the girl with the net over it on Photoshop, it gave a really old effect. Hope you like it!

Curly Sue

Hello all, was soo busy, busy, busy with the Horse Show in the RDS last week, I just didn't have enough time to update my blog. I wanted to share one of my favourite films with you all, Curly Sue (I know I'm a big kid inside!) I just LOVE it! Here she is in all her curlyness...

Pink Sky Carousel

I really love carousels, especially when the horses are painted well. They're usually accompanied with popcorn stands, candy floss and that funny carni music. This pic shows one horse which got away and has now been seen flying above the rooftops. ;)

LOVE this!!

Have really admired Oliver Jeffers for many years now, I have all of his beautifully illustrated books. I really like his art and little stories. His book 'Lost & Found' was made into an animated film and it's so sweet and perfectly made. Ohhh, he's just so good! He's Irish too ;)

Lola May Arrow

Lola May Arrow is another beloved mannequin, I was hungry for a nice apple green so I thought it would suit Lola quite well. Hope you like her!

Lola May Arrow

Sugar Gliders

I came across these little guys on the internet about a year ago and instantly wanted one (even though they're like wild flying monkeys) they're just stupidly cute! I had to share them with you :)

Stupidly cute...

The website is up!

The website is up and running, yay! The shop is not quite working yet, but don't worry it will soon. It's really small at the mo but I'll keep adding to it and soon it will be purrfect. Here's a little look...

Take A Trip

More balloons, balloons on the brain. I'm in the process of learning silk screen printing because I'd love to put my designs on t-shirts. I'm working on a few simple designs at the mo... this one's called 'Take A Trip' (working title) ...

Here Comes The Sun

I love hot air balloons. I love how amazing they look altogether in the sky. I thought this little guy looked like someone who'd be into air balloons. It's a mad mix of loads of pics I had - a bit of a collage. It's called 'Here Comes The Sun', hope you like it!

Green & Red Theme

I don't know if you've noticed so far that I'm particularly fond of green & red together in my pictures. They make me feel good - especially when the green is a little cyan and the red is a little pink. I just LOVE it! Here are two of my pics with this colour scheme...

'Us And Them'

'Ketchup Daydream'

The Aluskas

Howdy all, Dave (boyfriend) is in a band called The Aluskas and, of course, I'm a BIG fan and I think their music is super! They will soon be releasing their debut album, can't wait! Check them out and become a fan of theirs on Facebook!

Ginger Bears

I baked these little guys a while back, they were so small and life like that I felt bad eating them, but I mangaed to eat the lot anyway...

Mannequin Fascination

I recently became competely compelled and fascinated by mannequins. I don't think they're creepy (well maybe if you kept them sitting on your couch). I think they're so beautiful and so photogenic. I found this one in Australia in Old Tailem Town. She was all dusty and alone in one of their little tin houses. I really think she's posing, I just love this pic and I knew she'd look great with a bit of lippy. There's many more mannequin pics to come...

New Moon

Hello all, the moon was freakin weird the other night, got a few pics of it and they all turned out kinda spooky and cool and warewolfy. Have a look see...

REALLY like this!

I first saw Chris Haughton's illustrations a few years ago and instantly LOVED them. They're so colourful, funny and inspiring! He has a children's book coming out soon called 'A Bit Lost' that he illustrated - I'll deffo be grabbing a copy of that! He's from Dublin too, Woo.

Bonny

Bonny is my family dog. I found her 7 years ago running in the middle of the road. She was tiny and one of her ears was bent down. When I saw her I just ran up and grabbed her and I knew i couldn't put her back down until I was home. She's the best, she's absolutely great...

Mail Monster

I designed up a character that I'm not sure what to do with - he's got an envelope, so I'd say I could use him on my mailing list page on my website or something - will let ya know. Here he is...

These sneakers are so kewl, they're actually a font!

Some more pictures

Hello all, attached are two newish pics that I created. I think they're both quite dreamy and sleepy, they'd look great in a bedroom at the foot of your bed, hence the sleepy titles...

Honey Joon Moon - I picture this to be very early in the morning just as you're waking up on a little boat. Is the sun really a smiling head or are you dreaming...

Goodnight, Sleep Tight - I'd say heart shaped clouds with winged sheep do fly above my house after dark, why wouldn't they? ;)

Baubie

Baubie Sunshine is a character I created. I had a dream one night and in it I was handed a birth certificate with her name spelled clearly on it. I woke up thinking that it was the maddest name I'd ever heard but I really liked it! So, I immediately went to work designing what I thought she might look like and this is who I came up with...

When it came to naming my business I just thought why not name it after her... so far so good ;)
